Exhibitions

Raul´s artwork has been exhibited in various galleries in London. His work has been selected as part of the BP Portrait Award's annual exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery (2011) and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters' annual show at the Mall Galleries (2017). He has had solo shows at Tapestry, Reading Room Gallery and the legendary French House in Soho.

In July 2013, Tapestry showrooms hosted Raul´s latest exhibition, with a new selection of live drawings from The Londoners series, and the three acrylic portraits that form his Walthamstow Trilogy.

Brit Pop
National Portrait Gallery

Raul's portrait Brit Pop was shown at the National Portrait Gallery, as part of the 2011 BP Portrait Award Exhibition. The painting featured in the BP Family Trail, an interactive experience for younger visitors to explore the artwork displayed. Raul was also one of the five artists shortlisted for the BP Travel Award 2011, an annual award which allows artists to experience working in a different environment on a project related to portraiture.
