Secondary school students learn about British art with Raul G

In recent years Raul has run various art history workshops for young people at Tate Britain and the National Gallery, both in London.

The latest was last Saturday; Raul accompanied a group of GCSE art students to Tate Britain for a workshop focused on British art and its development throughout history.

As well as looking closely at the paintings, the youngsters listened as Raul talked them through the stories and motivations behind works from artists such as Hogarth, Reynolds, Burne-Jones and Waterhouse, as well as more recent pieces by Bacon, Freud or Hockney.
